The City of West Hollywood
recognizes September as
NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH
National Recovery Month is a national observance sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (www.samhsa.gov). It is held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
The theme for National Recovery Month 2015 is Join the Voices for Recovery: Visible, Vocal, Valuable! highlighting the value of peer support in educating, mentoring and helping others.
